Craft textiles

We've been tracking down various artisanal textile designers from around the world. Many of these textiles, which are traditionally made by craft based cooperatives in very poor parts of the world, are disappearing. We'd like to figure out a way to help preserve these textiles and their hand made production techniques by getting involved in developing new products with the artisans.

Hi there!

You have found great examples! We have been working in a project with a Mayan community in Yucatán, Mexico to rescue the embroidering techniques of a group of Mayan woman. Together we have developed a line of contemporary woman and children's clothes and have been successfully comercializing them in Mexico and Europe. Get in contact with us. We are always happy to hear about new projects.
